Buddy Club ~ Margate

I am excited to invite you to the first Buddy Club ~ a place to meet new pals in a fun and friendly space. It is a little like speed dating for friends but without any judgement or pressure! Just some fun and games to lighten the mood and then the opportunity to have some pizza and pints in a mingle sesh after the main event! We are delighted to be hosting it in the Margate Leisure Centre on Wednesday 29th November. Everyone’s invited and I hope to create a safe and happy space for you all to feel relaxed and reassured.

I have lived in Margate 7 years now and when I moved it was easy to meet new folk, mainly as I had a little shop so people would come in and chat freely! But I realise it has got increasingly difficult to connect and step out of your comfort zone especially post pandemic. Wether you have lived here a life time of freshly moved down we all need a little nudge to find fresh faces and having suffered with social anxiety myself, I fully appreciate how weird and clunky these things can be. This is why I wish to initiate an event where people can come and be distracted with cute conversation cards and fun games to meet new people in their community! This town is full of some many amazing brains and beings and I hope to unite you all with your new BFF's!
